About the role In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing the performance of our games in the Apple App Store and Google Play as well as optimizing and scaling our Apple Search Ads efforts. You will be at the forefront of monitoring app store trends and implementing effective ASO & ASA strategies to increase visibility and both organic and paid installs of our mobile games. This role involves a combination of marketing, analytics, strategic skills and creativity to improve app rankings, drive organic app downloads and maximize the effectiveness of Apple Search Ads. Responsibilities: Keyword Research and Optimization: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-traffic, low-competition keywords. Optimize app title, description, and metadata with targeted keywords to improve search rankings and overall app positioning. Optimize campaigns based on keyword performance to ensure high visibility and conversion rates. Market Analysis: Analyze the competitive landscape in the app marketplace. Understand competitor strategies, strengths, and weaknesses to identify opportunities for optimization to increase organic traffic or scale existing paid user acquisition. Campaign Creation and Management: Design and launch Apple Search Ads campaigns tailored to target audiences and marketing objectives. Manage budget allocation, bidding strategies, and ad placements. A/B Testing: Formulate hypotheses and perform A/B testing on various elements such as app icon, screenshots, and description to determine what changes can lead to higher conversion rates. Execute A/B tests on various elements of the ad campaigns, including custom product pages and keyword strategies to identify the most effective approaches. Monitoring Performance: Track and analyze app performance metrics, such as downloads, rankings, ratings, and reviews, to gauge the effectiveness of ASO strategies and make data-driven decisions. Monitor and analyze the performance of Apple Search Ads campaigns, click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend (ROAS). Use this data to make informed decisions on campaign adjustments. Content Creation: Work with graphic designers to create compelling visual and textual content that resonates with the target audience and adheres to app store guidelines. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on ASO and ASA efforts and outcomes, including ranking improvements, changes in download volume, conversion rates and overall performance results, including ROI of both ASO and ASA paid and organic activities. Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the team, including marketing, product development, graphic design or customer support, to align ASO and ASA strategies with overall business objectives and to set clear and effective tasks. Staying Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, emerging ASO techniques and best practices, as well as any changes in app store algorithms and policies. Budget Management: Efficiently manage the advertising budget to maximize campaign performance and ROAS. Adjust spending based on campaign results and strategic priorities. Requirements: A minimum of 4 years of experience in ASO and ASA, preferably within the mobile gaming industry. Proven track record of success in ASO, with demonstrated improvements in app visibility, downloads, and user engagement. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in ASO analytics tools (such as App Store Connect, Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Apptweak, Mixpanel..) to interpret data and performance metrics. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with different teams. Creativity and innovation in developing marketing strategies and visual content. Knowledge of app store policies, procedures, understanding of app store algorithms, ranking factors and best practices. Understanding of search traffic and its impact on organic metrics. Experience in conducting A/B tests in app stores.
