- About the job The successful candidate will be able to work at our office in Lviv or remotely in Ukraine. Plarium is an international developer of award-winning mobile and desktop games. RAID: Shadow Legends, Mech Arena, and our other 18 hit titles unite more than 450 million players worldwide. With over 15 years’ experience, we strive for boundary-pushing gameplay and graphics. We are looking for a talented Localization Engineer to join our Localization Department, which localizes the company’s games into 18 languages. Our team of more than 10 specialists works with different genres of games and interacts with in-house teams of Game Designers, Project Managers, Community Managers, Video Production, and our Israel studio. Localization of content involves specialists based in Europe, Asia, and both North and South America. In your work, you will use Translation Memory Systems, CAT Tools, Git, Figma, and Unity Editor. Responsibilities Reviewing technical documentation and using it as a basis for descriptions of the interface elements, and features Interacting with Creative, Game Designer, QA, and Development teams to create high-quality texts for the company’s projects Consulting freelance translators Compiling localization kits Working with specialized software, such as CAT tools, Git, Figma, and Unity Editor Providing Localization QA What we expect At least one year of experience working as a translator or a localization engineer English language skills at the Advanced level Strong communication skills in both Ukrainian and English languages Gaming experience and an understanding of common game mechanics Desired Hands-on experience with CAT tools Knowledge of foreign languages What we offer Officially registered full-time employment Minimum of 25 calendar days of paid vacation annually, separately paid public holidays, and additional paid leave for specific needs Medical support and fully paid leave if you or your child are sick Reimbursement for the cost of a coworking space Individual development plan and regular feedback Professional seminars, workshops, courses, and internal training programs Opportunity to take an interest-free loan Counseling with psychologists and mental health workshops Reimbursement of gym membership fees, and running club
